At Henna By AO, we understand that even with the highest quality products, occasional issues can arise due to the handmade nature of our henna cones. Here, we provide detailed troubleshooting tips to address common problems you might encounter with your henna cones.
Troubleshooting Tips
Keep in mind the Henna cone troubleshooting instructions for a better vibe,
1. Hard & Dark Paste in the Tip
Sometimes, the very beginning of the henna cone can oxidize, causing the paste to harden. This can result in a dark, hard paste at the tip. To resolve this, gently squeeze the paste out at the beginning until the soft, light-colored paste starts flowing. This will restore the cone to its proper consistency.
2. Uneven Flow
Our henna paste is 100% natural and super fresh, which means it is also perishable. During transit, especially on longer journeys, the essential oils can sometimes separate from the paste. If you encounter uneven flow, gently squeeze the cone up and down using your pointer finger and thumb. This action reintegrates the oil back into the paste, restoring a smooth flow.
3. Leaking or Sticky Cones
Each henna cone is meticulously handmade and sealed with tape. During long transits, oil separation can sometimes cause leakage through the seam. If this occurs, rinse the cone and dry it with a paper towel. You can also add additional tape to the seams to prevent further leakage and ensure the paste stays contained.
Note:
Because our henna is a handmade and perishable product, minor imperfections can occasionally occur. While these instances are rare, following the above instructions should resolve any issues. For the best experience, we always recommend opting for express shipping.
